Only use the app if you are free to date on Thursday. This preserves the integrity of the ‘date that day’ concept and shows you mean business. So much of what you can do on the app is limited to maximise your dating app experience, so consider your matches carefully and take the time to respond to messages. Time wasting and ghosting are not allowed. You must be over 18 to use the app.

Be honest with other members about who you are. Do not lie about your age, height, appearance, work or anything that may deceive other members. Only upload photos that are of you and keep photo editing and distortion filters to a minimum. No cat or kittenfishing allowed!

Treat other members with respect and kindness at all times. Thursday is a safe community for everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, body size, religion, disability, identity or sexual orientation. Any targeted abuse, harassment, violence, discriminatory or hate speech or content towards other members or Thursday staff will not be tolerated. You will be removed and banned from the app.

Do not display any private or personal information on your profile including phone numbers, addresses, national insurance/social security numbers, passports, or financial information.

It goes without saying, do not do anything illegal. Not only will this get you removed from the app, but we will not hesitate to report your actions to the relevant authorities. Soliciting other users to buy products or services off you is not what Thursday is for. Your profile is not a marketing platform.

Basically, just be on your best behaviour. One breach of the code of conduct will result in you being banned and your Thursdays will be very boring. 

The Thursday team reserve the right to ban users at their discretion. Decisions are final.
